Primary Job Responsibilities

A highly motivated individual to deliver high quality financial system solutions.
As part of a fast pace organization, this position requires to work closely with the various business units, Site Operations and external vendorssuch as banks and software providers.
The candidate is expected to be a self-starter and team player, a strong drive for results and continuous improvement.
The responsibilities include development for eBay’s current global billing system.
This individual will also help support some billing activities by working cross-functionally to troubleshoot issues and report results to management as related to their development projects.
Providing efficient and high quality development to the billing activities is essential for the position.
This position requires a minimum of 5 years billing/financial development, excellent communication skills, business knowledge and the ability to coordinate with eBay’s global teams.

Job Requirements
(Knowledge, skills, abilities, experience required to perform job)
Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science/Business or equivalent
5+ years of development and support experience, preferably financial, billing or payment applications
5 years or more in Object Oriented Development with Java, XML, SQL and XSL is required
Good knowledge of Oracle database and SQL required
2 years or more in shell scripting (ksh) and/or perl is highly desirable
Experience in Kenan (Arbor/BP) billing system a plus.
Strong scripting skills
Strong communication, problem analysis/resolution skills
Strong customer/business orientation
Good time management and be able to work on concurrent assignments with different priorities
Drive results while coordinating and working with non-local teams.
Windows NT and/or UNIX development experience
Experience in IBM Websphere and ISAPI is an advantage
